    The Fight of My Life

    Lordship or Lipservice

My Pastor at home spoke on this topic at church on Watchnite Service and it really got me to thinking.  In my life is God really First in everything.  Because ultimately that's all He wants.  God wants to be First in every aspect of our lives.

    My hearts desire:

Matthew 6:33 "But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you."

Deuteronomy 4:29 " But if from hence thou shalt seek the Lord thy God, thou shalt find him, if thou seek him with all thy heart and with all thy soul.

John 4:23 " But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him."

John 15:5 " I am the vine, ye are the branches: he that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing."

    An Invitation to Worship

All I can say is that I serve a God who always knows exactly what I need.  Lord I just want to say thank you for just being you.  I mean so many times I go to thank you for things that you've done for me.  But as I sit and think I am just so thankful that you are you and you will never change.  There are so many times when I try to do things on my own and you show me time and time again that it just doesn't work.  But sometimes I am so hardheaded that you have to just knock me upside my head in order to get my attention.  I just love the way that you never give up on me.  Lord I want to be all that you have created me to be.  I desire to do your will and not my own.  Please help me to continue to rest in you.

    From the Father's Heart:

My child, how I love to call you that!  Do you know what a treasure you are to Me?  Do you know how many times a day I am thinking of you?  And do you know how it grieves My heart when you forget how much I love you?  Did you know that if you had been the only one, I still would have died for you?

Until next time.  I luv ya'll and always remember that Jesus will never change and with him nothing is impossible!!

All I can say is that I serve and Awesome God and he knows just what I need in every aspect of my life.  Earlier this week I was dwelling on not being in Methods 1 this semester but I realized that everything doesn't happen on my timetable.  Sometimes the Lord makes you wait so that he can break you and then make you stronger so that when you get there your character will be able to take the shift.  And I am at a shifting in my life where the Lord wants my undivided attention and I am hearing him loud and clear and he is saying, "Arielle, I know what I created you to be and you will fulfill my will but you must rest and believe that I will take care of you."

Needless to say the Lord is making a way even as I write this post.  I am staying an Early Childhood Major and will be in Methods 1 in the Spring.  Right now through this Fall semester the Lord is going to be preparing for my shift into that area.  And I am so ready for the journey.  I know that I am probably going to have some rough times ahead but my God is soooo gracious and loving and he will never put more on me then I can bear. And he knows my deepest desires and is just waiting for me to let go and let Him move in my life.

Jesus, I just want to thank you now for the journey that you and I are going to be taking.  Thank you that because I am your child your are so willing to work with me to make me the best I can be in you.  I love you so much and I pray that I can be faithful to what you have called me to do.  I bow as your humble servant and say, "Lord I put on you"

What's up!! Well I am back at Cedarville and it is my Senior year and I am going to make the most of it.  Sometimes in your life you are thrust into areas that you may not want to be but it is at those times when you must totally trust the Lord because he knows all and already knew what was going to happen in your life before the beginning of time.  So to anyone out there who is reading this.  Be strong and it's alright to hurt and be broken because it is through pain that great things are accomplished.  Luv ya'll And I'll be sure to update you all on my journey.

    Nothing Without You

Ok so I haven't really kept this up to date lol.  But I did say we would see.... Alright well where to begin well I guess first I should say that this year has not been the best of years but you know things happen and how you handle them is what matters.  In all honesty I don't think that I handled everything well but I'm not perfect and God knows that.  So as many people know I usually don't get a lot of sleep but lately I have been getting less which may be because of stress among other things but I haven't been getting a lot none the less.  So today I was doing my devotions and I recommend this book to anyone Daily in Your Presence:Intimate Conversations with a Loving Father by Rebecca Barlow Jordan.

So I have two conversations I would like to share the first is titled ABBA. Scripture Romans 8:15, "For you did not receive a spirit that makes you a slave again to fear, but you received the Spirit of sonship. And by him we cry, "Abba, Father."

From the Father's Heart: My child, how I love to call you that! Do you know what a treasure you are to Me? Do you know how many times a day I am thinking of you? And do you know how it grieves My heart when you forget how much I love you? Did you know that if you had been the only one, I still would have died for you?

Another one titled Balance. Scripture Matthew 6:33, "But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well."  From the Fathers Heart : My child, you're struggling with balance - as all My children do. You may think you can do all things, but you can't without Me.  When you make Me your first priority, you'll be amazed at what you and I can accomplish together.  Throw away your agenda, your fears, and your busyness.  Exchange them for My balance.  Like the spokes of a wheel, all your activities will turn smoothly when you are connected to the hub - Me.

Maybe these may help someone as they are ministering to me in this time where I think Lord what else can happen but the Lord says he loves me and He must be my first priority.  Till next time.... luv ya'll
